Reduced Prices for PGD Related to Family Balancing Pending Continued Access for the MicroSort® Clinical Trial

We understand that family balancing is an important reproductive choice for many of our patients. In an effort to compensate for the unavailability of MicroSort®, we will offer a discount on another family balancing option, PGD (preimplantation genetic diagnosis.)

Those patients who are interested in doing a MicroSort® /IVF cycle (and would have qualified to do so) have the option of using PGD in place of MicroSort® at the price at which MicroSort® had been available. While GIVF awaits the FDA’s decision regarding continued access to the MicroSort® technology, we will offer a discount on another family balancing option, PGD (preimplantation genetic diagnosis), which is unrelated to the clinical trial.

GIVF will provide PGD alone, without MicroSort®(R), for family balancing at the price at which MicroSort® had been available. This price is lower than the standard price for PGD. The PGD discount will not apply to patients using PGD for reasons other than family balancing. The price of other aspects of the cycle, such as IVF, ICSI, cryopreservation or storage of embryos, would not be effected by this offer.
