FIRST TRIMESTER SCREEN

The American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology announced January 1, 2007 that ultrasound nuchal translucency testing with biochemical marker assessment is now standard of care for ALL pregnancies regardless of a woman’s age. This first trimester screening (FTS) is the earliest screening option available and is non-invasive with no risk for pregnancy complications. Special certification is required to perform and interpret this highly sophisticated test.

The center is staffed by Fetal Medicine Foundation certified sonographers and board-certified genetic specialists. Every patient receives an expert clinical result.
