GIVF Embryo Care
GIVF has successfully created, transferred, frozen and stored embryos for more than two decades. In fact, GIVF's cryobank divisions not only store embryos for GIVF patients, but for scores of patients whose embryos were created at other fertility clinics.
Where embryos are concerned, precision is everything. GIVF's laboratory, medical and storage programs are designed to ensure that the handling of embryos is technically perfect and that the integrity of each embryo is protected through careful handling and labeling.
Before embryos are transferred to a patient, the physician performing the transfer and the embryologist double check the labeling on the embryo and confirm that the patient is the person whose name is on the embryo's labeling and on the patient's wristband. The physician also checks a photo image of the patient in her file to ensure that the person about to receive the embryo is the same person who is in the photo. Each step in the process is followed every time, to ensure accuracy.
GIVF's medical and scientific experts would be happy to answer your questions about embryo handling and storage.
