SHIPPING SPECIALIST
Fairfax Cryobank has an opening for a full time Shipping Specialist in our headquarters in Fairfax, VA. This position is responsible for preparing and shipping 30 to 50 orders per day in a highly regulated environment. This position is also responsible for maintining a current inventory of available stock. Must be able to lift 35 lbs repeatedly, must be able to handle super cold product, must be able to work in a team environment. Training will be provided. Hours are Monday to Friday, full time. Start time will be by agreement between 7 am and 8:30 am. High School Diploma required, some college education in a scientific field would be prefered.
This is a regulated field, attention to detail is critical. A sense of humor, computer skills, strong work ethic, excellent command of written and spoken English, ability to follow written instructions, and a willingness to learn are required. LABORATORY SUPERVISOR
Fairfax Cryobank, a division of the Genetics & IVF Institute (www.fairfaxcryobank.com) has a full-time opening for a hands on Laboratory Supervisor in our facility in Philadelphia, PA. Fairfax Cryobank is an industry leader and the premier provider of human donor sperm and long-term storage of embryos, and sperm. GIVF is seeking a talented and driven individual to:

oversee the processing, freezing, and shipping of donor semen and shipping of embryos

supervise the Philadelphia lab site and technical staff
-
maintain and supervise the donor roster

complete specimen and testing data entry
-
compile monthly and quarterly reports
-
participate in review and revision of SOPs
-
serve the local oncology community by cryopreserving specimens for men undergoing cancer treatments
-
work to maintain and monitor long term specimen storage program
2-3 years laboratory bench experience in Andrology or related field is required and experience in cryopreservation is desired. Extensive training will be provided. A Bachelors degree in a related science is required and a Masters degree is preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills required.
