A new male fertility test is now available for home use. This diagnostic kit has been FDA approved and is available (amazingly) at your local CVS drugstore. Although this kit is no substitute for a laboratory analysis, it does provide couples with a fairly accurate, initial screening to see if there is a problem with male factor infertility. Many men are apprehensive about having fertility tests done in a clinical setting, for obvious reasons. For about $100, this test gives couples preliminary information that can help them decide if they should seek professional help. Its great to see this technology available to consumers, without having to schedule an appointment.
